Pastor Shawn Franco is the lead pastor at Cornerstone Assembly of God in Chester, VA, where he has served for 24 years. He and his wife, Sara, have four children and have enjoyed 25 years of marriage. Shawn is the co-founder of Project Hope, a non-profit which created and maintains a free-service medical clinic in the leprosy village of Gendetesfa, Ethiopia (90 miles from the Somalia border). Over 20,000 children and family members have received free medical care there so far, and a beautiful partnership of government, village leaders, and families have been created spanning culture, economics, religion, and language.
Shawn is also the co-founder of Cornerstone Revitalization Center (CRC), which is a non-profit committed to raising the quality of life in local at-risk communities. Likewise, he has partnered with service organizations to serve at-risk communities around the nation and world including the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation, the Compton-Watts Los Angeles area, Queens, NY; London, England; Lima, Peru; and Bamako, Mali.
