Bev Gibson is the founder of Vessels of Mercy International, Inc. which currently serves in over 15 countries, bringing hope and healing. Bev began her missions work in 1982 by helping to establish the dental arm of Crossover Ministry. Since that time, she has served in over 150 different countries with various relief organizations, churches, and Vessels of Mercy International. She has given more than 37 years of service to the underserved, unreached, and under-resourced around the world. Bev serves on various charitable non-profit boards of directors and serves as a consultant for many grass-roots organizations. She is a licensed ordained minister and serves as a chaplain on the Rapid Response Team for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. She is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Disaster Emergency Response Training, Crisis Response International and Basic Disaster Life Support. She is a member of the Critical Incident Stress Management Foundation. She currently serves on several local and international coalitions against human trafficking and slavery and has completed the US Dept. of State Human Trafficking Awareness Training. She is a worldwide ambassador for Women's Health with Days for Girls.
