MaShawn Simpson is Vice President and Lead Counsel Data Acquisitions for LexisNexis Risk Solutions Group.  She joined the company in 2005 and advises the business on data acquisition, content licensing, product development, data privacy and corporate transactions.  She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Georgetown University Law Center.  She resides in Lauderdale By the Sea, Florida with her husband and two kids.  Her love for Lydia House started with its founder, whose passion is contagious, and with whom she attended middle and high school.  MaShawn wholeheartedly supports Lydia House’s mission to enable the empowerment of women in Liberia through education, and cannot wait to see what God has in store for this organization.
